Gua Sha is an ancient technique used to remove blockages and create space under the skin and between the muscles, which allows qi and blood to flow freely as well as nourish and activate tissues. A smooth stone or bone tool is glided along the skin to relax tense muscles, encourage blood flow, and stimulate the lymphatic system. The treatment will begin by cleansing the skin, followed by a customized oil application to allow the tool to glide with just the right amount of friction. You will start face down on the table while we open up the back of the neck and shoulders, you will then be turned over to treat the décolletage and face. This 45 minute session will leave you feeling relaxed and blissful, and the skin will appear lifted and glowing. With multiple sessions the skin will be functioning at a higher level, and can treat many things, including acne, scarring, eczema, fine lines, deep wrinkles and overall texture and bounce in skin. It’s also a great way to allow our skincare products to penetrate deeper!
